These are vanish moves that add a little optical illusion to make the move more convincing. the light reflects off the coin and causes the eye to see the coin a fraction of a second after it's actualy gone. In some cases, the illusion is even greater when they can see the coin between the fingers right before the hand is closed around it.
In this video, you'll see the move performed twice. once with the receaving hand palm up, and once with the receaving hand palm down. They are just variations of the same move.
