This is a variation of a very powerful move. The pass, It's usually used as a control, but it has many other uses. A basic deffinition of the move would be to cut the deck invisibly.
This variation of the pass is called the "Riffle Pass" because it appears as if you simply riffled the cards. This riffling action covers the action of the Pass.
in this video you'll see the riffle pass performed twice. Once with a face down card and once with a face up card. the face up card makes it easier to see when the move occurs.
