This table shows the status of Americans from 1910-1999. There are a lot of different increases and decreases which I thought were interesting. There was a 6.4% increase in the amount of people married from 1940-1950. This was probably because of World War II. This was also the time where the percentage of those Widowed was greatest, at 9%. This is another cause of WWII. Another trend that is noticeable is the Divorce increase. From 1910- 1999, there has been a 9.3% increase. That is a tremendous amount, and a sure indication that times have changed since last century.
