Lena made her Halloween Foosball debut in 2000, losing to Steve in the first round, although she became the first person to turn the crowd decidedly against Steve in the tournament's 6 year history.
Lena was said to be the "Queen of Foosball" going into the tournament. Greg's intimidation factor may have helped her a little but not enough. Lena's also known for her infamous struggle with James Higson over the control of the Bartlett Fantasy Baseball Emerald Lake Lucky Duckies. Lena was the GM, Higson was the President, and the battle for power got pretty intense during the summer of '01. The two are believed to not have been in the same place since, and there could have been some fireworks on October 27th, 2001, however Higson did not attend. Lena did not participate in the 2001 Tournament, however she teamed up with Greg in the doubles tournament. That team's victory and subsequent advancement into the second round marked the first time a female competitor had won a HFT sanctioned foosball game. 2001 was Lena's last appearance at a Halloween Foosball Tournament

during her year-long stint as the general manager of the Emerald Lake Lucky
Duckies.
James Higson: Another ELLD induced rivalry Higson was the co-owner
of the Duckies and these two clashed for control of the team. When they were
scheduled to meet face to face at the 2001 HFT, Higson conveniently had a dance
in Dracut to go to.
