Music in my own words

When I was very small, my mother always had the radio going and I feel that this is where I got my start in music. As I got older I still liked music very much. And I played around with the guitar but wasn’t too successful at first. Then when I was in the army, I began learning much more about music with other GI’s and we formed our own band.

I had played a couple of times for the Enlisted Man’s Club dances. From there, I got out of the army, and as a civilian, hung around with a group of young men and formed another band. That one didn’t go too far. Many years later, I really started going after my dream in music. Now is the time I feel that I could become successful in music. I believe that if you want to be successful, you should play from your heart and not from your wallet. As I said on my first CD, “succss is fine and great but for me, real success still is to inspire someone to go after their dream!”
