The Forsaken

The Forsaken where Men and Women during the Age of Legends who pledged themselves and their souls to the Dark One for immortality. While there were many Forsaken, by the end of the Age of Legends or the last year of the War of Power their were only thirteen, the most powerful of all the Forsaken, and they were sealed along with the Dark One in his seal.

When the Thirteen most powerful of the Forsaken pledged their souls to the Dark One they were given new names almost as a rebirth of their new selves. These names however were given out of contempt. The Male Forsaken are Aginor, Asmodean, Balthamel, Be'lal, Demandred, Ishamael, Rahvin, and Sammael. The Female Forsaken are Graendal, Lanfear, Mesaana, Moghedien, and Semirhage.
