WEEKEND 6 - 11/11/2000

We really didn't do much. We brought the rear axle in and disassembled as much as we could. One of the differential cover bolts broke on removal. Have to drill that out in the future. The gears are in very good condition. Should have a lot of milage left in them. Sorry for no pictures but, well I forgot.

{short description of image} Here is our beautiful Dana 44 rear axle. Pulled the cover off and, of course, one of the bolts broke. Grrr! The gears looked to be in really good shape. We should be able to get at least another 20,000 miles out of it. This is a good thing, One more expense to worry about later.
Here are the axles and some parts of the brake drums. They too look in good shape.
