WEEKEND 3 - 9/23/2000

Well or plans for this weekend was to buy some box steel and weld up a towbar for moving the Jeepster in their unregistered state. Well Saturday was rainy and after we priced things out it was only about thirty dollars more to buy one from Pep Boys. So we picked up a Class III Valley Industries towbar. We got a beefy one so that we can use it in the future if we want to tow it to trails when it has its heavy steel bumpers, full rollcage, etc. So we mounted the towbar and then towed it over to Neil's dad's place. That about all we had time for on this weekend. Next weekend we're going to try to remove the body and the engine. Wish us luck!

Here's the mounted towbar. We're not going to keep the bumpers so we just drilled through them. That mount is SOLID.
