WEEKEND 11 -
3/3/2001

We decided that this weekend
would be used to finish up some of the smaller item that we had out-standing.
We started cleaning the rest of the parts that we have slated for fresh coats
of paint. This includes Valve Covers, Oil Pan, Engine Mounts, Transmission
Cross Member, Air Filter Case, and a couple of other things. We also started
helping Neil's Dad get his 89 XJ ready to go Wheeling with us in the Spring. He
have to get a new coat of paint on it then we're going to install a 4-or-so
inch lift kit on it. So that's about all we did. The frame is now ready to have
the new springs installed etc. Hopefully that will be real soon.

This is our secondary project.
Neil's dad owns an 89 XJ that he want us to put a lift kit on so he can come
wheeling with us. That means we gotta spend some time getting it
ready. |

Getting suited up properly for
lots of sanding. |
 |
We ended up having to pull all
the paint off of the roof and hood. |
 |
Sorry for the bad images on a
few of these. The flash form the camera reflected off of the suspended dust
particles and made the image quite spotty. |
 |
We cleaned out out parts
washer and this is the sludge we emptied from the bottom. |
 |
Ten - Hut! Sgt. Ron reporting

This is Neil's wife cleaning

My girlfriend Anna wanted to
help again so we had her paint the rear axle. |

Scraping the munge and crap

reinstallation. |
