You first need to decide on whether you want to buy a pre-packaged kit or build from raw materials. Building from scratch can easily double your invested time but is a lot more rewarding. Building from a kit is easier, quicker, and you will need a lot less tools.
Tip! An important tool to have a lot of is c-clamps. The more the better. Life will be a lot less hectic with them.
I have listed the tools I used to build from scratch. I put an asteric beside the tools you will probably not need if you build from a kit and a description of why you will need it.
