Overview
The Western Massachusetts ARML Team is a group of highly talented high school students residing in the Western MAssachusetts Area. Simply put, ARML is the World Series of mathematical competitions. High scorers in local events are placed on the 15 member All-Star teams that compete every June at Penn State University. The entire program is aimed at making students more comfortable with their abilities and introducing them to new and exciting areas of mathematics. For most, the ARML competition is their first taste of the college experience: living in dorms, eating in dining halls, and taking in the special environment that a college offers. While almost all participants have been involved in other mathematics competitions before, ARML is certainly the most prestigious event in the nation.
