I still have this available for viewing:

"I remember receiving my first Breyer when I was five years old. The collecting bug hit then and I couldn’t get enough model horses. I didn’t realize there were other model horse collectors out there until I attended the first BreyerFest with my mom in 1990. I couldn’t believe all the different models Breyer had made - and what a hobbyist could do with them, namely remaking and showing.

I entered my first model horse show the following summer and immediately became hooked. The more shows I entered, the more I learned and the better I did. Fellow hobbyists and showers shared their knowledge with me, and I began to study books on various performance disciplines and breeds so I could improve my entries. In the span of a year and a half, I went from Novice to Intermediate to Open shower.

I started experimenting in remaking in 1992 with simply repainting models. I then started resculpting and hairing (gave up on hairing...too messy!). After spending hours with a hacksaw, wire cutters, and file, I purchased a Dremel® Moto-Tool to make prepping easier. I also picked up a heat gun to further ease the process of remaking. I soon discovered epoxy putty and began my remaking endeavors in earnest. With each model I completed, I learned more about the process of remaking as well as painting techniques, and became better progressively. I bought books on equine anatomy and bio- mechanics, so I would be able to correct the models’ original conformational problems. I attached the prefix “WW” (Wachusett Willows) to most of my finished work, so fellow hobbyists would be able to recognize my work.

My favorite breeds are the Norwegian Fjord (see fjord links below...) and little-known Finnhorse. I have produced a number of both these breeds and love to experiment with new techniques. I have started to accept custom orders as people have become more familiar with my work. Several of the models I have done for myself as well as other hobbyists had qualified for the North American Nationals®.
