Scene 1: Company
(Michelle is sitting by herself playing with a knife--twirling it around, etc, etc. I'd be afraid to cross her right now because it doesn't look like she would hesitate to use it right now! :) Anyways, Bill walks in and sits down across from her.)
Bill: Hey, you.
Michelle: (Dully. That doesn't look right, does it? Yeah, I didn't think so.) Yeah, hi.
Bill: Well, it's great to see you, too.
Michelle: (Kinda bitchy.) Rough night, sorry.
Bill: What was last night? Oh, last night was Danny's big night with the new band, right?
Michelle: Yeah, except for the fact that he almost got killed, we had a great time.
Bill: (Disbelieving.) Excuse me?
Michelle: His ex-girlfriend, Teresa (I thought her name was Hoochie?!), slipped Danny a date rape drug. Knocked him out. We thought he was dead. Oh, take a wild guess who gave it to her. Ben Warren.
Bill: You're kidding me.
Michelle: No, I'm not. I hate that guy so much right now. You have no idea. (Well, that's not entirely true. Remember when he spent a couple nights in jail? Yeah, I thought you did.)
Bill: Yeah, well try me.
Michelle: I mean, I really...I could kill him. (Kinda stabs the air with the knife.) I could... (Bill takes the knife away from her. Thank God...she was starting to scare me...)
Bill: Yeah, well, Michelle, I think you're going to have to take a number because that line is going all the way around the building. (And which building might that be?) Oh, look what--look what I got in the mail. (Takes an envelope out of his pocket.) Reapplication letter to Springfield University.
Michelle: Oh, don't tell me.
Bill: Rejection.
Michelle: Dammit, Bill...I'm sorry.
Bill: Apparently they're not interested in students majoring in corporate espionage. (You can major in that? Nifty. Oh, wait...he was being sarcastic...nevermind. Forget I even said anything.)
Michelle: This is all Ben Warren. He infects everything that he touches.
Bill: Yeah, and for those of us lucky enough, he does it two or three times.
Scene 2: Company
(There's actually another scene before this, but it's a conversation between Bill and Vanessa. Michelle is just sitting there the whole time. I have it transcribed so if you want to know what's said, then e-mail me. They were basically just talking about reapplying to Springfield University, and how that's the one thing Ben can't take away. All I have to say: Uh-huh, yeah. Whatever.)
Michelle: Bill, you cannot tell me that after everything Ben Warren has done and continues to do to you, you're just going to forgive and forget about it.
Bill: No...I don't know about forgiving, but yes, I have decided to forget about it. And I'll tell you why. Listen. Because everytime that you mention his name, everytime that we mention his name, or we think about something that he's done, or if we lose even a minute of sleep because of this guy, he's winning, okay? My life is more important than that. I'm sorry.
Michelle: Well, you're better than me because, you know what, I can't forget about this. I can't just let it go.
Bill: Yes, you can.
Michelle: No.
Bill: Think about it. How come you didn't want Danny to know that Ben was behind Teresa drugging him? Huh? Because you wanted to let it pass. Come on. Michelle, you got a great thing going with Danny. You don't want to screw this up.
Michelle: Well, maybe you're right. But, you know what? People like Ben Warren aren't just going to go away because you ignore them and ignore what they do. And it's not just what he did to us. It's what he did to Ross and Blake. And to Abby. It's his fault that she even went to jail in the first place a long time ago. Now he's got his hands on Drew. What is next? When is this going to end, Bill? (Okay, is Bill psychic? No, I don't think so.)
Bill: Okay, okay. I want you to do something for me right now because you're my best friend and I care about you and I hate to see you like this okay? Relax. Look at me. Ben is going to pay for what he's done. He will. (Bill walks away.)
Michelle: Well, maybe you can forgive and forget, Bill, but I am not as easily persuaded. I'm going to have to hit Ben where it hurts. (Ow, is she going to rack him?)
Scene 3: Company
(Michelle is sitting at the table when Ben walks in. She gets up to leave and comes face to face with Ben.)
Michelle: Who the hell do you think you are? (W-A-R-R-E-N.)
Ben: Can we do this another time? I have another--
Michelle: Did you think you were going to break up me and Danny? Do you have any idea how much we mean to each other?
Ben: Well, congratulations and good-bye.
Michelle: Ben, you almost killed my husband and I want to know why.
Ben: I didn't do anything to--
Michelle: Dammit, Ben, tell me why!
Ben: Why I do things? You want to know what I do things? I don't need a reason. Sometimes I do things just because I feel like it. Why don't you be a good little wife, go home and tuck your husband back into bed?
Michelle: (Grabs a knife and puts it up against his throat.) You seem to have all the answers, so why don't you give me one good reason why I shouldn't kill you right now! (Hehehe, go Michelle! Taebo his ass!)
