Scene 1: Outside of Company

(Michelle and Bill are sitting on a bench outside of Company. Bill's drinking and Michelle's trying to console him.)

Michelle: I can't believe she broke up with you. Well, you guys are like every other couple, you know? You're going to fight. You'll break up and you'll get back together, right?
Bill: No, we won't get back together, Michelle.
Michelle: Well, it seems like that now, but...
Bill No, it's like that, okay? Believe me, the signals were loud and clear here. This is just another hit in this great winning streak that I've got going right now.
Michelle: Alright, first of all, stop feeling sorry for yourself, okay? I know this hurts right now. I wish I could make this all better for you. I wish I could tell you everything's going to be fine. And the best that I can do is tell you that everything will work itself out. You're going to make it through this, you know? (Pointing to his drink.) But, that is not going to solve anything. Drinking is not going to solve anything, okay? You are surrounded by people who love you, family who loves you, friends who love you. Come on.
Bill: Do you love me?
Michelle: Of course I do. Of course I do. Bill, you're my best friend. You were my first crush. How could I not?
Bill: You were my first crush, too. That's not something that's very easy to forget, either. You know?

Scene 2: Outside of Company

(Michelle's talking to Danny on her cell phone. Bill's gone. The scene switches from Company to Danny's hotel room in LA, depending on who's talking.)

Michelle: I miss you so much that I don't want to talk about how much I miss you because I'm going to miss you more. (Wow...try saying THAT 10 times really fast!) How was, uhmm...how was your flight?
Danny: It was good. Hey, the weirdest thing happened. Guess who was on the plane with me? Teresa.
Michelle: (Her eyes are really wide here. Kinda like she's onto the Hoochie.) Really? Ex-girlfried, Teresa. All in the same place.
Danny: Yeah. It turns out she's got some business to do here. (You think it's just a coincidence, Danny? Well, good thing Michelle realises that it's not some coincidence. We don't need both of you completely oblivious to what she's trying to do...) So we ended up catching up for 5 hours, which definitely beat watching the movie they were showing. (Okay, sorry, but since when does it take 5 hours to get from Springfield, which is supposedly in Illinois, to LA? A couple hours maybe, but not 5.)
Michelle: Yeah. Yeah, I'm sure.
Danny: Listen, I, uh...I guess I better...I better get to bed so that I can have my act together tomorrow. (Bed? What time is it there? I'm guessing it's 8 or 9 o'clock in Springfield, so that would make it like 6 o'clock in LA, right? I'm just confuzzing myself, now. I'll quit analyzing everything.) I'll call you in the morning, okay?
Michelle: Okay. Are you going to see Teresa again...while you're there?
Danny: I don't know. Maybe.
Michelle: Well, tell her I said "hello". (I just love how JL said that, it was great.)
Danny: Okay. I love you.
Michelle: Love you. (Mouths "I love you" and hangs up.)
