FREEDOM OF MARRIAGE

Marriage is a personal contract between partners. Government has no business saying who can marry each other. It doesn't matter who the other person is, what sex they are, or even the number of people who want to enter into the marriage. The government also has no business saying who can perform a marriage. Any interference by the government is a breach of the separation of church and state.

For that reason I immediately call for the repeal of the General Massachusetts Laws, Chapter 207 Sections 1-3, 4, 6, 8, 10-12, 19, 35, 44, and 58. Section 38 needs major rewriting. Also, Section 272 Sections 14 and 15 should be repealed.

I also call for an additional Section in Chapter 207 that specifies that the state of Mass. doesn't care about a person's sex, (male, female, hermaphrodite, transitional, etc), sexual orientation, or sexual preference. That all consensual parties eligible to be married, as defined in this section, can be married to anyone else that is eligible to be married.

This is one of the reasons I also call for an end to all bedroom laws.
