The Massachusetts Firearms Mailing List (ma-firearms) is a mailing list for Massachusetts firearms activists. It promotes discussion and dissemination of information relating to firearms legislation and policy in Massachusetts on both the state and local level, as well as other issues affecting sportsmen and sportswomen in this state.

The ma-firearms list is a privately-maintained list not affiliated with or sponsored by GOAL or any other organization, though individual readers and contributors may be. We encourage discussion on all sides of any issue, and respect people's opinions who may differ. However, flames and ad hominem attacks are frowned upon.

This list is available in two forms:

direct mail of each message as it is posted

digest form, where all of one day's messages are combined into one or or a few larger messages and sent out the next day.

To communicate with the mailing list software (in order to subscribe, unsubscribe, or get help), send electronic mail to:

To subscribe, your message body should say:

If you want to subscribe to the digest form instead, your message body should say:
