Chapter 267: Section 23. Bank notes or bills for a fraction of a dollar.

Section 23. Whoever receives or puts in circulation as currency a bank note or bill which is, or a part of which is, for any fractional part of a dollar shall be punished by a fine of twenty-five dollars.

Commentary:

No one can make paper money that is worth less than a dollar? The money industry has since been taken over by the Federal Goverment, so you can't put seperate money into circulation anyways. And what's the point of making it a crime to make a bill for less than a dollar, even if the money industry is re-privatized? Repeal it.
