Lisa watched every move he made. She tried so hard to hide what she was feeling. As much as she loved him she didn't want to admit it to anyone but she felt they already knew.
She was taking a break from playing football with all the guys. She was sitting out, watching Chris.
"No, you don't like him!" Her mind screamed.
"I love him." Her heart screamed back.
She saw him get a touchdown and smiled, then she quickly took the smile off her face as her looked her way.
*Can you hear it in my voice?- Was it something I let slip?- Does The whole world know- Isn't it obvious?*
Lisa got up, wanting to go and play but she turned and went into the house, not wanting to let anything slip. She got a glass and put some water in it. She looked out the window, watching him play, he was amazing. She found it sad that he was all she thought about. She went to walk to the table and the glass slipped out her hands, shattering in a million pieces.
She turned around quickly as she heard the door.
"What happened?" Chris asked looking from her and then to the floor.
"What does it look like? I dropped the glass." She said rudely.. "Stop it Lisa." She thought. She didn't know why she acted this way.
*I'm the one who's in control- Now I'm acting like a fool- Do my feelings show- Is my face aglow?- Isn't it obvious?*
"Here, let me help." Chris helped her pick it up and then he say her hand. He took it in his. She felt a chill up her spine as her touched her hand. "You're bleeding! Let's get that fixed." He said taking her hand. He got out a band aid and washed the cut a little in case, then he placed the band aid on her hand, she was smiling the whole time and her hands were shaking. She didn't realize until he looked up and laughed. "What am I doing?" She thought as she quickly looked away from his glance.
*That I don't know what I'm doing anymore- I'm feeling like a little girl- Caught up in emotions- I'm out of control- Isn't it obvious?
Do you see my hands, they tremble- Wonder why I can't look you in the eye- Don't know how long I can keep this inside- Isn't it obvious?*
"You coming back out to play some more girl?" He asked.
"Yeah, I'll be out in a minute." She sighed after he left the room,. She got up trying her hardest not to think about it and went out to play.
After a while everyone came in for dinner. They were all seated at the table. Her, Chris, Justin, JC, Joey, and Lance and of course JC's girlfriend Kim.
"Pass the food my way!" Lisy said as she sat down.
"Sure thing, Lisy." Kim laughed. "It'll all be gone with you and Chris and Joey here." They all laughed and started eating.
*That I don't know what I'm doing anymore- I'm feeling like a little girl- caught up in emotions- I'm out of control- Isn't it obvious?
Suddenly these emotions are in control of my heart- Can you see it in my eyes?-Every glance, every smile must give me away-And I feel so much I can't hide this*
Lisa felt tears well up in her eyes. She couldn't believe she was acting like this. Everything in her mind was diving her crazy! She was thinking so hard about Chris, and she never knew she could be so infatuated with a guy.
"I think I'm done." She got up and went into her room quickly, not wanting anyone to see her cry. She was always strong, always a fighter, always happy and having fun.
"Chris go see what's wrong with her!" Kim yelled after no one said anything.
"Why me?" He asked like he didn't know anything.
"Cuz you both know you love each other!" She yelled and he went running into her room.
"Lisa, are you okay?" Chris asked after knocking a little. She turned on her bed to face him after wiping tears away.
"Does it look like I'm okay?" She sniffled. "No, what's wrong?"
"You wouldn't understand, you'd think I'm stupid." She said hiding her face.
*That I don't know what I'm doing anymore-I'm feeling like a little girl- Caught up in emotions- I'm out of control- Isn't it obvious?*
"Lisy, listen to me! You are not stupid, I would never think you're stupid because you are so beautiful and so fun to be around. Everyone's been telling me you like me and I didn't think you did because of how strong my feelings were for you, Just tell me what's wrong, I'll understand or at least try to."
"Chris." She swallowed hard, "I love you." She wrapped her arms around his neck and her kissed her softly. "I love you too."
"Awww!!" They looked up to find everyone standing at the door with smiles across their face.
