The Unofficial John Fuglesang Appreciation Page - Links
When it comes to links, we're pretty much the only game
in town for on point stuff. But not entirely:
MAILING LIST:
Details for the John Fugelsang Mailing list
can be found on said portion of this site.
MOVIES:
Internet Movie Database: Entry for one "John Fugelsang"
Olive Juice: The as yet unproduced romantic comedy with Joe Pesci doing a song
and one of the Backstreet Boys acting. (but I would see it anyway). NOTE* This
being related to the subject of this website depends on
the web page you consult! The link above takes you to
the site that says he has the role of "Matt." From there
you can also access the Official Site
where he isn't mentioned. What the producer has asked me to tell you
is that "his appearence in the film has neither been confirmed or denied."
But I got the impression people are pulling for things to work out.
This is the data for you consideration.
Somwhere in the City: Hands up everyone who wants to
picture Mr. Fugelsang as a one night stand...now if you
don't mind seeing him as somone else's one night stand,
this is the movie for you.
Final Rinse: His picture may even be here, but if you can tell for sure,
you have sharper sight than I.
TELEVISION:
ABC Offical Bio page.
VH1 Grammy Night Diaries: Mr. Fugelsang's own version of events.
Behind the Scenes at AFHV: Informative look at the show's workings, with photos.
Politically Incorrect: Includes transcripts.
VH1.com: No listings mention who hosts what, but if you want to peruse, go ahead.
Real Life:
to save you some time, might I recommend skipping to the entry for April 15th 1996. It is
the only summery that mentions Mr. Fugelsang, but I doubt that was the only installment he
appeared in.
Click TV: The best free source for searching and sorting tv listings. Often yeilds a surprise or two.
COMEDY:
ImprovUnderground: with Mr. Fugelsang listed as a member.
POLITICS:
Free Speech On-Line
Blue Ribbon Campaign
A.C.L.U.:The American Civil Liberties
Union, I have no official info on his feelings towards this group, but,
judging from the stand he's taken on most issues on Politically
Incorrect, I'll just go out on a limb here.
PEOPLE HE'S PISSED OFF:
Extreme Right: Here is a group of ultra
conservatives ranting after one of Mr. Fugelsang's P.I.
appearences. One says that, if he likes the homeless so
much, why doesn't he quit his $10,000 a night job to
help them. Say what you will of the ultra-right, I've
always held that they're good for a laugh.
PETA: People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have
kindly furnished us with a new mailing address now that the AFV one
will probably soon be out of operation. If they knew it was being
used for fan mail, I wonder if they'd appreciate the irony.
MUSIC:
"Run, Devil, Run" listening party: a site chonicaling the Fugelsang-hosted listening party for Paul McCartney's "Run, Devil, Run" party. Includes an approxamation of a speech Mr. Fugelsang gave.
Book of Bob: One of the best Bob Dyaln resources on the web.
Regina's Beatles Page I don't know if this is the best
on the net, but it is the one that has pictures of you-know-who
on it.
RANDOM:
Productions Stills from Oregon (I think). Nice pic!
FELLOW FANS ON THE WEB:
Miller Light Larry Miller, author, humorist and lecturer admires Mr. Fugelsang in one of his columns (a different Larry Miller from the stand-up in 10 Things I hate about You and creator of the famous 7 Stages of Drunkeness routine).
All for one and more for ME! Homepage for a nice young woman named Lisa who
proclaims herself Mr. Fugelsang's "one-woman-public-relations-team,"
and "President and only member of his fan club."
What we fans lack in numbers, we more than make up
in enthusiasm.
VENTICELLI:
Northern Light:
Many additions to this page would not have been possible without
this site, easily the best search engine I've ever used. I
dropped in "John Fugelsang" as the most needle like object
in the global internet haystack and Nothern Lights wowed me with
it's response. We have it to thank for the updated mailing address
and everything here on Olive Juice.
Deja.com: Good for meeting other fans
& those people on alt.showbiz.gossip can be *real* chatty. Hands
down, best Deja conversation I stumbled across while looking for info
for this page involved the Beatles discussion group nominating Mr. Fugelsang
as the next Beatle so they could tour as "John, Paul George and Ringo" again.
OTHER:
So You Wanna Be An Actor? I debated even listing this
because Mr. Fugelsang's name does not appear anywhere in it.
However, it was written by one "Johnny Appleseed" and
comes up on every search I do on him. Deduce
from that what you will, Sherlocks.
