The Unofficial John Fuglesang Appreciation Page - Introduction

Introduction

(written on June 28th, 1999)

Welcome to The Unoffical John Fugelsang Web Page, the only page devoted to John Fugelsang on the web. This pretty much makes us the offical web page too. I considered making it "official," but I didn't know if you needed permission for that sort of thing and "unoffical" sites are always juicier anyway.

What? You don't know who John Fugelsang is? (Of course you do, no one else would put "John Fugelsang" into a search engine to find this place. Just humor me, this stuff is du rigour for web pages...and, yes, I know we're not really talking here).

John Joeseph Fugelsang, otherwise known as John the Obscure, is known to most as the snarky guy from VH1 and/or the non-Daisy host of America's Funniest Home Videos. He has appeared in independant films, a word we couldn't pluralize before this month. He is an award winning comedian and a skilled dramatic actor, we hear. His position as an openly intelligent man in a dumbed-down world has endeared him to more than you'd think.

On this page, you will find much helpfull information about Mr. Fugelsang, along with the requisite irrelevance (or do I mean irreverance?).

NOTE ABOUT THIS PAGE: It was either this or an internet alter to Family Circus, but Bill Kean can be a real nark about copyright laws. Writing HTML code is kinda like staging a play half your audience will see in a shadowbox theatre and the other half at Royal Albert Hall. I can only base my aesthetic choices on my own computer settings. For example, on my work computer, the fonts are read as being so huge that the page headings often dont fit on one line, and the main page has some links spilling off below the picture. On my main computer, however, all is pleasently proportioned. So if the pictures don't line up on your computer or the font looks off, I apologize.

Well, that's it. Surf responsibly, and my work here is done...*Poof*
