GRAND LODGE OF  MASSACHUSETTS

All Masonic Bodies, including Boston Commandery, recognize the supremacy of the Grand Lodge over the government of the Craft.

UNITED GRAND LODGE OF ENGLAND

This is the mother Grand Lodge of the world.  In 1733, The St. John's Provincial Grand Lodge, now the Grand Lodge of Massachusetts, A.F. & A.M., was authorized by the Grand Lodge of England.


SCOTTISH RITE OF FREEMASONRY
The Scottish Rite confers the degrees from the 4°  to the 32°.  The 33°  (honorary) is also conferred by the Supreme Council of the Scottish Rite.


YORK  RITE OF FREEMASONRY

GRAND ROYAL ARCH CHAPTER
The Royal Arch Chapters confer the degrees of Mark Master, Past Master, Most Excellent Master, and Royal Arch Mason.

GRAND COUNCIL OF
ROYAL AND SELECT MASTER MASONS
A Council of Royal and Select Master Masons confers the Royal Master, Select Master, and Super Excellent Master degree.

GRAND COMMANDERY, KNIGHTS TEMPLAR
The Grand Commandery of Knights Templar and the Appendant Orders of Massachusetts and Rhode Island  has jurisdiction over the following Orders:  Knight of the Red Cross; Knight of Malta; and Knight Templar.
