Dr. Jerry Sutton "A Primer on Biblical Preaching" If you ever wondered just what a pastor has to do to prepare a message this book give insightful instructions on the time and effort it takes. Also, Chapter 6 of this book gives an excellent summary of notable history of biblical preachers throughout the centuries. It was the best summary I have seen to date. I find the author's style easy to read and comprehend. recommendation by Rev. Marc Greenwald.
