Corax Page

Corax- Corax are the Raven shapeshifters, (if eastern they are called Tengu, you can use these stats but must be approved through the eastern Staff) they are the children of the sun, not the moon like other changeing breeds, becouse of this they have no fear of silver as it does not harm them like the Garou, but due to there ties to the sun they do fear gold with causes aggravated wounds to them in there non-breed form. The Corax are unique in the changeing breeds as they are the only shifters to have the ability to fly without a gift, barring some lucky Mokole, they have many bonuses wich help them, there bones are hollow like a birds so they are usually rather nimble, and have eyesight like a HAWK!! they also have tha ability to "drink" an eye of a newly dead creature to see its final moments of life...the eye they can drink from is chosen in charecter creation.

Breeds


Homid- A typical human well...if he wasnt corax, typically have dark black peircing eyes.(Rage:1 Gnosis:6 WP:3)(Restricted Ablitiy "Flight")
Metis- Due to the spirit egg that must hatch via a rite that binds it to a human, or raven child metis Corax DO NOT EXIST!!
Corvid- Born a Bird you are a typical Raven...with abilities, as with homid Corax you dont know you are corax intill your spirit egg hatches (Rage:1 Gnosis:6 WP:3) (Bonus Ability "flight")

Renown


Corax use a system similar to the Ragabash..but start play with 2 points in wisdom and one to distribute in either Wisdom, Glory or Honor..

Forms


Homid- Same as above :)
Crinos- The Corax tend to keep away from using this form which is a rather ungainly as well as comical looking form, instead of arms they have wings which end in a clawed hand and they are roughly human sized, but they CAN fly in this form, some corax(tengu) learn a special attack when the learn "razor feathers" which they do a jumping leap and cross there arms quickly allowing two attacks without spending a rage..but there "disdain" for using this form has kept other breeds thinking that they can only change to two seperate forms..homid...and corvid..
Corvid- Same as above :)

Gifts


NOTE: there are NO true breed or auspice gifts..only Corax gifts...Corax are so chatty they freely share gifts...so ANY Corax Charecter regardless of breed can take any gift..and also note that Corax like to "steal" gifts..almost any gift a Garou knows a corax can pick up...barring a few obvious ones...razor claws is useless to one who can make his feathers razor sharp...
