When You're Here With Me

The sun encircles me
As I step out of my door.
Every single thing I see
Seems more beautiful than before.
The grass tickles my toes
As I step upon it.
And the smell of flowers enters my nose
As of them the bees take a sip.
There is no wind
To make me cold.
And I begin to wonder if this feeling could ever grow old.
The feeling of the warmth out here
Fills me with joy and glee.
And it makes me feel almost as much cheer
As when you’re here with me.
