My Script-by Me
Devotions:
Devotions is a time when you can meet with God, talk with Him, and learn from Him. You have a personal, private line of communication to God through the Bible and prayer. Here is what you do:
1. Find a spot where you can give your full attention to God and will not be distracted by other people. Also, make sure you are not a distraction to others.
2. Pray (simply talking to God) to God that you would have an open mind and open heart to learn from the Bible reading.
3. Read through the Bible passage twice to make sure you understand it.
4. Answer the questions (if any) or write out how you feel to help you think through the passage.
5. Pray to God that you would be able to apply what you have learned.
