Question and Answer Section

Question: What do you think the biggest gap in age between a couple should be?
Ken Foo: I think age is not an issue in here, the issue is the maturity! I believe that both sides need to have the same maturity that truely understand the meaning of a romance relationship.

Question: Do you really think the 8:00 rule is fair? What caused you to make this rule?
Tommy Lo:I think the question is, "Is it fair to everyone that people don't respect others and don't respect TWR by not showing up on time?" I don't know about you but I always look forward to friday nights; the worship time and then spending time with all TWRers. I would come on time even if I have to skip dinner.

I'm not saying you shouldn't eat or whatever. What i'm saying is that your action will mirror who you are, what is your priority, and what your attitude is like.

You might ask why I let some people stayed the week after the rule is implemented? Am i showing favoritism? Absolutely not! I let people stayed that night because they told me the truth about waiting for other people (especially those who don't come to TWR usually) so they were late.

So is it fair to have that rule? Yes, I think it's fair because it's not fair to you, to TWR, to me, and most importantly to God that people don't respect us enough to be punctual, or at least try to be punctual!

Question:I have a friend that is a very strong Catholic. I strongly feel that I should convert him to become a Protestant, but I everything that I say seems to have no effect on him/her. How should I handle the situation? In general, what should people do to try to convince a non-believer to become a (Protestant) Christian?
Ken Foo:It is important for us to understand that GOD is the ONE that can really speak to our hearts. Our words mean nothing, but GOD's WORD is powerful. Please be sure that you are speaking GOD's WORD when talking to any non-christian. It is also very important to continue to pray for your non-christian friends. Our job is to share the gospel to others, not to convert all non-christians in this world.
