50 Year Collection of TV Shows and More for Sale!

The following 16mm films are for sale for BEST OFFER. Most are TV shows and unsold pilots. At the very end is a small list of feature films and super8/8mm film. We have not watched many of these films in years, so the condition or info may be sparse. If you want to know more details about any film before submitting a bid, ASK US. We will try to watch the film and answer your questions. After looking through a small portion of the color films, we've found that a lot of them have turned red. If that makes a big difference to you, again, we can check it for you.

PLEASE NOTE THESE ARE NOT VIDEOTAPES. THESE ARE 16MM FILMS, WHICH MUST BE PLAYED ON A MOVIE PROJECTOR.

Remember these are from one collector to another with NO rights given or implied. All bids are plus shipping. E-mail us at: moondrift44@yahoo.com with your offers or questions.

PLEASE DO NOT ASK US THE PRICE OF ANY FILM. THESE ARE UP FOR BEST OFFER.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

We are not film dealers. There is little chance of our ever adding more than a few films to this page. We are collectors just like you. The quantity of films in our collection got out of hand and we've listed here the films that we never watch, in exchange for which we'd rather have $$$ back in the bank.

There are some films on this page that we would have a hard time letting go of, and which we would sell only for "an offer we can't refuse."

We paid a bundle to transport these films when we moved all the way across the country, so we are not able to accept bargain basement offers or heavily discounted package deals for ANYTHING on this page. But if you submit a **reasonable** offer that we feel is simply too low for us to live with, we will make a counter-offer.

If you bid on one of the films that we don't really want to part with, we will be straight with you. Please be straight with us when you submit your offers.

"Pilot" generally refers to a pilot episode for an unsold series. We won't consider any offers of less than $100 on any unsold pilot.

THIS LIST IS CURRENT FOR MAY 2024.

If you would like to talk on-line in real time with questions, please e-mail us for our phone number. You can text to 702 621-1952.

The Farmer's Daughter:

(We screened these all in December 2012 to verify details and condition)

#2. THE SPEECHMAKER Sep. 20, 1963 (Part two of the pilot) Katie loses Glen a chairmanship by letting his son make a speech, so she leaves and applies for a job in the Congo. Bob Jellison (as a recurring character who continuously hums and doesn't realize it), Betty Lynn, Paul Hartman.

Arabic subtitles. B/W. Average used print. This episode starts at the opening credits, prologue is missing. Some splices losing maybe a syllable; one splice loses seconds. Epilogue may be missing too.

#6. THE WASHINGTON SPOTLIGHT Oct. 25, 1963 Katie gets Glen on an interview show with host who baits guests, inadvertently exposing an AWOL soldier and his Asian girlfriend who are asking for help to not have her deported. Harry Townes, Jan Stine.
B/W. Good used condition, a few minor splices.

#12. ONE RAINY NIGHT Dec. 11, 1963 Glen and Katie take refuge at a justice of the peace's house when their car breaks down. A couple come to marry but keep fighting. Ernest Truex Arch Johnson. Virginia Vincent
Arabic subtitles. B/W. Average used print. Countdown leader has rips. Little white dots up and down on the left for the first few minutes. Jumpy for a minute or so. Has Screen Gems tag at end.

#21. THE PLAYBOY OF CAPITOL HILL Feb. 12, 1964 Peter Graves as a Senator who is labeled a playboy, who starts dating Katie. This episode has the first passionate kiss between Katie and Glen.
Arabic subtitles. B/W. Well-used print but not major defects.

#31. THE OCTOPUS April 22, 1964 A nerdy teen named Arthur visits and starts a business with Steven, hiring kids to do odd jobs and then not paying them. Dennis Joel, Charles Herbert
This must have the wrong opening credits spliced on, as it is the later season opening with the characters appearing out of a black background and a 1965 date. B/W. Good used condition print. A few minor splices, one jagged splice at the beginning, very-well taped together.

#32. RENDEZVOUS FOR TWO May 6, 1964 Katie and Glen are alone together for a weekend for the first time. After a disastrous attempt at a homemade romantic dinner, they argue and end up separately at the same restaurant. At the end he is about to say "I love you" for the first time, but gets interrupted repeatedly. Patricia Barry, David Lewis, Fritz Feld,
Arabic subtitles. B/W. No leader. Average used print.

Green Acres -- My Mother The Countess. no comm. As of Feb.2010 the color is a bit washed out but the print is not bathed in red or pink. People's faces are flesh color. There are items that are very clear white, yellow, gold, orange, pink, and one green rocket. In a scene with the American flag, the red and white were perfect, the blue was a dark navy blue. There are no blues that are probably the blue that they should be. Fred Ziffel had overalls that looked purple. The scenery is full of earth tones, so it's hard to know if things that appear to be shades between maroon and brown are shown correctly.

People In Conflict -- Kinne

Perry Mason -- Case of The Gilded Lilly.
Screened 2-08. Runs 49 to 51 minutes. No commercials. Episode 34. Opening theme starts abruptly, missing the first note or two. Three tiny splices during dialog, but so blink-of-an-eye that you don't lose even a syllable. One tiny splice during movement not during dialog, and you wouldn't have missed any. There's an almost unnoticeable in-and-out-of sharpness at times; doesn't detract from viewing pleasure. The contrast starts out a little light at the start of a few scenes but quickly resolves. There's a splice during a sentence that appears to be "Where is Paul?" and what you hear is "'s Paul?" The film broke at an old jagged splice five minutes before the end. Nothing was cut out to square off the film when that splice was originally made, so nothing is missing. But this break caused damage to about 11 frames. Nothing should be missing from that damaged area, but those frames will probably run a little roughly. There's one splice during movement, while there is only muttering dialog in the background. During the last five minutes of the film, the film has a hard-to-describe movement; it does NOT go in and out of focus, but the picture gets slightly larger and smaller, larger and smaller. Nice long closing theme, Viacom logo at the end.

Perry Mason -- Case of the Nimble Nephew.
Screened 2-08. Runs 49-51 minutes. No splices that we noticed. Very sharp, noticeably great contrast. Nice long closing theme. Bert Convy is in it. It closes with the original CBS slide and then the CBS eye. This is in really excellent shape. We didn't even notice cue marks or any signs of use.

Pete and Gladys -- Gladys and the Piggy Bank, probably network.
Phyllis -- #6224 color prob pink.
Phyllis -- The Bribe, color
