THE KOO is a trio featuring Bob Hayman - Guitar, John Powell - Vocals and drums and Tony Mgrdichian - keys. Their self-produced CD was released in 1988 and has a very good sound which couldn't be better. Musically it is a synthesis of AOR, Poprock and pop, by which the keyboards play an important part in the sound of THE KOO.

Sometimes the band has similarities to I-TEN and THE PRODUCERS. Songs like "Got to get together" and "Standing in the rain" are a mixture of AOR and Poprock, while "Runaway" is a mixture of poprock and pop. A lot of keyboards and terrific vocals are making this CD very interesting for the die-hard AOR fan!
