They say that a picture is worth a thousand words. I agree. In this part of the Roman Catholic Observer site you can see a graphic portrayal of salvation as offered by Rome, and salvation as offered by Jesus Christ. This page really says it all. In fact, if you consider it seriously, you may not need to read the rest of this site at all!

Rome's Path to Salvation

This figure shows all the things you must believe and do, according to the Roman Catholic Church, to be saved. Study it carefully. Start at any point you wish. The idea is, that if you do everything Rome tells you to do, and believe everything Rome tells you to believe, you will reach the top step, which is Heaven, or salvation. See how long it takes you to reach salvation in Rome's system!
