Background: Karla King was a typical farm girl. In her youth she would spend long night's on the roof of her home, starring at the stars and wondering what was out there. Apparently the star's answered. One night she watched as something glowing fall from the sky into the fields, yet making no sound as it landed. Thinking it was a meteor, Karla went to investigate. What she found was not a meteor. What appeared to be a small Tablet floated a few feet above the ground. As Karla moved cautiously forward, the tablet emitted a burst of light that rendered her unconscious. She awoke several hours later as the sun was coming up. There was no sing of the tablet but as she reached up and touched her forehead she was surprised to find three small spheres apparently imbedded in her skull. After the initial shock she soon learned that the experience had left her with great strength and durability. Delighted she wanted to find the best way to use her new powers, She was discovered by Northern Guard soon after and offered a position in the group. Since then Karla or rather Kar'la (Her own idea) has learned that the three spears on her forehead are just the most noticeable of the changes in her body. Test have shown that her form is now swarming with microscopic objects that are channeling odd exotic energies from some other dimension into her Body, Giving her great power. Her teammate Dust has theorized that the tablet was some kind of alien weapon, designed to turn a subject into the perfect war machine. Karla however takes all this in stride. She has the power now, and she will use it as she sees fit.
