"That's the last time I listen to any hair-brained based words coming from YOUR mouth!" Brian seethed.
I didn't respond. In fact, I couldn't because I was too busy laughing. Brian had emerged from the locker room drenched with water.
He bent his head doen and vigorously rubbed his short dirty blonde hair in a vain effort to wring water droplets out of his hair.
If there was one quality about myself that I couls change, it would be the fact that I laugh very easily. And believe me once I start, I can't stop. I clutched my stomach with one hand and used the other to support myself against Brian's Wrangler. That animal-like gesture of shaking the water out was just too much.
"Selena! Do you see me laughing?"
I met his eyes and I could tell that he was making every possible effort not to laugh too.
He walked toward the drivers side and I heard the faint squishing of his shoes as he did so.
This brought on an entire new batch of laughter from me, and I finally gave up and sunk to the pavement.
"That's it!"
I heard rapid waterlogged-boot steps, and the next thing I knew I was in the air up-side down staring at Brian's butt. Not only was it a highly unchoice position, but he was hugging me tightly as to get me wet too.
"Let go!" I was too weak from laughter to do much else but make a few unfruitful attempts to wriggle out of his grasp.
"Brian!" I uttered weakly.
It was a lost case though. I knew that I was doomed. The next thing I remembered was the sight of the blue chlorinated water as it rapidly jumped up to my face.

It was my turn to watch someone laughed at my expense.
I grabbed a towel from the bathroom. "Brian threw me in a health club pool!" I spat.
First I had to explain that Justin was our biggest suspect, and then I told her about following Justin and then Brian's shower incident. All the while Candy was politly trying her best not to laugh. She's doing better than I did, I thought dryly.
After changing I explained that Brian had found an interesting piece of evidence. I was almost positive that Justin was guilty. And it secured me to know that Brian noticed the CK One cologne in his gym bag.
"You know, I still have one more question," said Candy.
"What's that?"
"Do you have the hots for Brian?"
The only response was my prompt change in facial color.
