HONDURAS AND MITCH 1998'S WORSE WORLD TRADEGY

From October 25 - October 30 1998: a horror began to develop in a small Central American country

HURRICAN MITCH!!!! WINDS OF MORE THAN 150 MPH !!!!

The people of Honduras, were told to leave their homes and go to shelters. They began to evacuate, not believing that this evil would strike their beloved country.

Reluctantly some began to leave their homes and belongings. Others stayed behind, not wanting to leave their possessions, land, their home, everything that they had, and not believing Hurrican Mitch could cause their country any problems!!!

Here and in other parts of the world, those who had family waited and watched, knowing too full well what a hurrican of the capacity and strength of hurrican Mitch could do. Those who did not have any close ties to Honduras simply went on with their lives.

this page is therefore, dedicated to the dead and missing of Hurrican Mitch and to those who are now homeless. My heart goes out to you. Honduras and its people will never be the same, but sometimes change is good. what is not good is the cost of change. And the cost for this change was much too high!!!!
