This is the first campaign I ever ran as DM. I prefer just beign a PC, it's easier. While I did put this on my Ludicrousland page, the players actually only spent a short time in the setting before I moved them over to Krynn. I did this because I had recently purchased a box set describing the lost continent to the north of Krynn and a Dragonlance based treasure hunting adventure book. For this reason this ended up being a rather magic item heavy group, but it was mostly fun, and I learned a few things at DMing while at it.
The players of this group as I remember them consisted of my brother Jeremy and our friend Michael. Each of them had 3 characters. Jeremy with a lawful evil necromancer, a powerful dwarf (with a tendency to find cursed items, notably a girdle of femininity/masculinity) and a crazy gnome jester. Michael had interesting characters as well, but I do not remember them quite as well. I know that they included a priest (possibly half-elf) and a centaur.
I tried to tie it all in a way back to Ludicrous Land by having them searching for the broken pieces of a magical artifact called the Scale of the Gods (similar in appearance to the image appearing on the header of the mythology section). I also made the mistake of giving each character a magical item to start with (of my choosing though). This made it interesting, but I don't think I'll do that again. I will however eventually have those magic items listed somewhere on this site in the near future.
