"Twiggy Ramirez"
Jeordie Francis White plays in a music band from FT. Lauderdale, Florida. The instrument that this talented person plays is bass guitar. Before joining this band he played two instruments before bass, they were rhythm guitar and violin. As soon as he joined this band he switched to bass because they already had an established guitar player within the band.
In case the wondering mind is curious the name of this band is Marilyn Manson. Mister White was invited to play in the band after their former bassist was kicked out for spending more time with drugs than the band. He was familiar with the bands work and with the people in it. In fact he was the first friend that singer Brian Warner had made while living in Florida. After coming into the band he was christened the stage name Twiggy Ramirez.
The common thing with people who are in or join the band Marilyn Manson get a stage name instead of using their own. The trend of stage names is from a starlet and a famous serial killer. Jeordie White got his first name, Twiggy, from 60’s model Twiggy who actually used that as her stage name, her actual name was Leslie Hornby. His last name came from 60’s satanic serial killer Richard Ramirez. Just because he takes his name from a satanic serial killer doesn’t mean he is a Satanist or a killer, he doesn’t follow any religion and himself, where ever it may take him.
He is known for following around his friend Brian Warner on interviews on TV and radio. He doesn’t do much talking because mister Warner has a lot to say that is on his mind. Every once and a while he would speak up and say something funny in his dry type of humor. Once in an interview he was asked what he would be doing if he hadn’t been in a rock band, he said he would be attending the million man march. Another question he was asked was what do you look for (as a quality) in people and he said kindness. It seems he is a nice person and a kind soul and he shows it, it sometimes isn’t present but most of the time it is.
Favorite things that he likes to do are things any normal child would like. His favorite book to read is The Cat in the Hat a book written by Dr. Suess. Joining the same cartoonish behavior, his favorite cartoon show is Scooby Doo. As for food goes he likes peanut butter sandwiches and kool-aid.
He was born to be a rock star because of the people who raised him and the history of his parents. His mother was a cage dancer for a few 70’s bands that never really got mainstream popular but still became somewhat known. He never knew his real father but has been rumored that he might be from one of the bands that his mother was a dancer for. He was raised by his aunt who was a groupie for popular band The Ramones. Also being a groupie for that band she also dated a member of famous band Bee-Gee’s. His life was strange and continues as an on going saga touring with Marilyn Manson is an experience not to forget.
