Tower Bridge and the Monument

Sunday, 2 February 2003

Soon after getting off the Tube, we discover that London Bridge is not what we were thinking. We were actually looking for Tower Bridge, which was a little ways over. It's a little blurry, I'm sorry.

Along the way to Tower Bridge, we stumble across the Monument. It was erected to commemorate the Great Fire of 1666, which destroyed London.

Here's another, closer, view of Tower Bridge.

This is the Tower of London, which would have been really neat to explore, but it was already closed by the time we got there.

Thank goodness Tower Bridge isn't falling down!
