The British Musuem, Hyde Park, and All Around

Sunday, 2 February 2003

Bright and early Sunday morning we awoke with plans to visit the British Museum. We cut through Hyde Park along the way, and discovered lots of things, such as these beautiful fountains.

There's a famous Peter Pan Statue, so we took full advantage of the posing opportunities.

Can you believe the flowers are already blooming?

Deanna and I stand around while Mari takes yet another picture of this famous guy monument.

We decide we want to move out of the hostel and into here.

On our trek, we encounter tons of double-decker busses (top) and nifty cabs (bottom)!

Finally, we find the Museum!

The inner courtyard has the most gorgeous interior.

The Museum Reading Room is pretty impressive as well.

Doesn't this look like fun? Mayans were known for pulling thorny ropes through their tongues...
