After the lighthearted and low budgeted Part 5, A New Beginning, Friday the 13th returns with perhaps the goriest episode, (click here for the kill count) reintroducing Tommy Jarvis to the setting of Crystal Lake, where his mother and friends were killed when he was 12. Although heavily cut when released, it is a firm favorite with fans, only beaten by the classic part 4. Cast and crew. The film has an excellent beginning, an excellent ending which sets the scene for part 7, and the deaths are evenly spread throughout the film, unlike some of the earlier films. CJ Graham plays Jason for his only film, as Kane Hodder takes over in part 7, but CJ Graham remains a favourite Jason, because of his style. Click here for a Part 6 script, WARNING : it's big!!
