If you are not a new bride or groom you cannot use the same method brides do to change your name. (You do not have the marriage license as documentation.)

My website was designed for brides only, but ... since so many other people have contacted me about how to legally change their names, I have put together a package of forms and instructions on how to legally change your name in the U.S. It includes:

Informative report and instructions on how to obtain a Court Ordered or Common Law name change;
Sample court petition;
Legal Name Affidavit document recognizing your new name; and
Government name change notification forms: Social Security, IRS.

For $10 U.S. to cover my printing, packaging, handling and postage cost, I will mail you the forms and Report. Just e-mail me where you want them mailed to. When I send them I will include a return envelope so that you can mail back the $10. (I trust you)
