Madness
I sit alone by the shadows of dawn
feeling this madness grow, feeling
this madness take hold of me, paralyses my
every word, and my every thought.
Is it fear or reality of finding again
something so familiar and safe.
This Madness takes hold of me as I
grip onto my tiny edge of sanity that
is still in view.
Holding onto every last breath that
sanity sings with sweet bitter pride of wanting
to let go, to give in.
Madness reaches further into the view, out of
the center of darkness dances the most
beautiful sight I have ever dreamt?
This circle of darkness that follows the madness
extends it's hand for me.
The questions dance in my head as the
ever so reminding sanity/madness fight go on
in my eyes.
I look madness in the eye
and takes it hand.
Let us sing together, let us become one.
Let me join the madness in its beauty.
Let me be the Madness
