This is a circle I wrote for a ritual that worked on attuning with nature. I thought that I might share it with you because it has become a favorite of mine. While it is best performed outdoors, it is certainly possible to perform it indoors as well.
While you don't need any fancy tools to perform this circle, other than a wans be it simple or expensive, some incense such as pine, frankincense, sandalwood or cypress, or any other woodsy-type incense is also nice to have. You may also wish to have a sprig of oak, some acorns, or any other naure totems placed about your altar.
Stand in the center of your circle, and ground and center your energies. With wand in hand, walk deosil, visualizing a green mist collecting about the circle's boundaries. Walk around the circle a second time, visualizing green sprouts springing from your footsteps. Walk the circle a third time around, and see now a strong green ring of foliage. Stand once again in the center of your circle. Raise the wand slowly, and as you raise the wand, see the plants "raise" and grow, reaching up, becoming nine great oaks. Next, see lush green vines and vibrantly colored flowers intertwine and weave about the mammoth trees, creating a great green bubble of leaves and life energy.
