About Myself
Hare Krishna. I was born in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, Hindusthan on the 13th March 1973 which makes me a piscean. I attended I.E.S English Medium School, also known as King George in Dadar. I was in Wilson College for a while then I got my Diploma in Mechanical engineering from Shreeram Polytechinc. Currently I am working towards my Bacholers degree in Plastics engineering at the University of Massachusetts, Lowell. I was introduced to Krishna Consciousness after I came to the U.S. My primary hobby is philosophy. I was always looking to find the answers to the basic questions that every human being has: Why are we here? What is the Purpose of life? What happens after death? All these questions and more were answered when I read the Bhagvad Gita.
Apart from Philosophy I have many other hobbies. I have always loved animals and nature. I love to go hikking and trekking in the woods. This year I climbed Mount Washington the tallest mountain in New England. I also collect stamps and coins. My favorite sports are football (I am a big fan of the New England Patriots), ping pong, badminton. And although I like playing cricket it is very boring to watch. My favorite kind of music is Heavy metal and Soft rock. I was very excited when I saw my favorite band AC/DC live in New York. Angus Young rocks. I love to read english literature and detective fiction. Agatha Christie is my favorite author. My favorite poet is William Wordsworth his poem Daffodils is my favorite poem. My favorite movie of all time, which I can never get enough of is My Fair Lady. I think Audrey Hepburn is not only the most beautiful woman that ever existed but also the best actress and the most compassionate person ever. Thanks for coming. Haribol.
