Submitting Senarios
EMAIL ME : Animixx_Webmistress@hotmail.com
Please email me and tell me a little bit about yourself. You don't have to tell me your life story. Maybe about your writing experience, if you've had anything published, whatever you like. Also, please include the following info:
¤ Name
¤ Gender (Nicknames can be tricky sometimes)
¤ Age
¤ Which senario you've chosen to continue
¤ Which senario(s) you've chosen to do art for (if any - see rules below)
¤ Your rating for your story/drawing
¤ Any additional contact info, links to your other works whether it is writing or art.
The subject of your email should be : "NAME OF STORY" In all caps please. All email addresses not in my hotmail address book will go into my junk mail folder. I want to be sure I see your email. Once I receive this email I will add you to my address book, but please continue to use all caps in the subject. This way when you send me your writing it will be filtered directly to my inbox.
As for rating your story, this is just letting me know ahead of time what kind of writing to be expecting. We all know what R-rated means. Anything that contains, adult language and sexual explicit sexual content. For this story I don't want anything R-rated. PG-13, this would be ok for teens. So this would mean no really offensive cuss words like the "f word", or anything more sexual than making out. If its G-rated...well then anyone can read it...If you have any questions about the rating of your story please feel free to ask me. I don't bite.
SOME RESTRICTIONS MAY APPLY
But it's probably nothing you have to worry about.
1. Your part must not stop the progression of the story. Meaning, that you can't write a paragraph about someone just standing there doing absolutely nothing. The plot must go on! ^_^ If you have any questions, again feel free to ask me.
2. Your story can be no shorter than two paragraphs. If you're wondering, a paragraph is normally 3-5 sentences. Is there a limit to how long you can make it? No. You can write for the story more than once so you don't have to write anything very long, but hey, if you want to that's great, I don't mind.
3. You can end a senario as well, but please let me know that is your intent when you send me an email. Anyway, I will only accept an End senario if its appropriate. It wouldn't make sense if nothing has really happened in the story yet. If that senario hasn't continued in a long time that may be good cause, why leave a part of the story dangling right? If the story can't possibly go on; say that a main character has found their true love or completed whatever tasks they set out to achieve, then I'll accept an End senario.
4. I am stating right now that I reserve the right to turn down submissions. I doubt this will happen since I'm not going to outright turn anyone down no matter what they write. If I have a problem with something you've written, I'll write to you and see if we can work something out. Like I said, I strongly doubt this will happen. I trust that you all can use good judgement.
5. When you write your senario please create no less than 3 choices and no more than 7. If you want to have more than 7 choices we'll talk about it. Anything less than three never seems like enough and more than 7 (even seven is too much sometimes) is overkill.
You want to send illustrations with your story? You read some of the story and you are inspired to send in some artwork for it? Great! I will accept artwork as well. Maybe you're not artistically inclined, or perhaps you are. Again, before sending me anything email me with the info at the top of the page.
AVAILABILITY!
Now for the last bit of info. How will you know if a senario is available? You've already seen what I mean if you've read the story. If a senario is "available" it will say so in parenthesis next to the choice. Anyway each writer has a week or two to write their part and send it in from the time I give them the ok. How is a writer choosen? Well unfortunately since I can think of no other way: first come, first serve. You write to me first about writing a senario and you get to write that senario. If there is interest in additional pages of the same senario if time permits I could set up the pages. But for now, I want to see how this works out. I'll also let you know which senarios are available at the time as well, just in case I haven't updated the page at that time. If you can't finish your senario within the week please email me. I understand life gets in the way. However, if you skip three times without a good excuse, I won't except parts from you for a while; its not fair to everyone else.
