Execution of Movement

One of the most important things when executing any movement is to maintain a complete state of relaxation. Use the arm as an example. When straightening the arm, the tricep contracts and the bicep relaxes. This means the more relaxed the bicep is through the motion, the faster the arm will travel, hence more power. By staying completely relaxed right up to the point of impact you are going to maximise the amount of speed aswell as allowing greater amounts of energy to be conserved by tension only coming in bursts. It is like a plane travelling at great speed because it is made of paper. It is light and so can be thrown fast, But upon the point of impact, the plane converts to steel. The gives a tremedous weight and force but with the speed of the paper plane.
