Who is Dangobug? My name is Mike Dango, but I'm known by other, more descriptive terms. My newest nickname, Dangobug, was coined by a co-worker and good friend, Ellis Bougiouris. He likes to re-write songs for his own sadistic purposes in a Puff-Daddy sorta way (those who are even remotely familiar with Veruca Salt should now see similarities between "Dangobug" and "Shutterbug"…for the lyrics to both, click here). I'm also called Spike, although not as often nowadays... (Thanks to Chrissy and Janet for reviving it from the lost college days...how'd they even know? They weren't even there!)
Not-So-Quick Bio:
Grew up in Woburn, MA (aka Toxic City...Great place to almost stop in, just don't drink the water like I did...like I did...like I...uh...). Went to Woburn High. Got into a lot of trouble.
Attended U. Lowell, which joined the UMass collective in 1990 (Boo!...Hiss!)...Did the ChemE thing for a few years and got the paper to prove it. "Hello!" to my inmates from the college days: Durk, Scott, Minna, Jimbo, Suzanne, Lisa, Tim, koverber, Dawn, miT mmuK, jkeegan, jgrotto, troyer, WWO III, Sean..........Kate Scott Lori and Pat (and the rest of those people)..........Chris Greg Brett Suzanne Krista Tony Jim and Wayne (and the rest of those people)..........Bill Sean John Alex Chris and Julie (and the rest of those people)...whew!
Ended up in Dracut, MA...and haven't left.
Wound-up working for Amicon, Inc., the day after graduation (2nd time)...not something I recommend...take at least 2 days to dry out before using your brain for profit. I spent the better part of 2 1/2 years working on a project which was doomed from Day 1.
Amicon was bought by Millipore Corporation in 1997. Fortunately I was also part of the deal...I won't bore people with the details...those who know me either work there with me or just don't care.
In January of 1997, I went back to school, this time to Rivier College, in Nashua, NH. Glutton for knowledge? Punishment? Cheesy-Poofs?
What Else?
I have 3 cats, Fritz, Sonja, and Mojo. Fritz is more mellow than a rock, and likes to spend his day "chillin'," which I admire. Sonja has much more energy than any cat should have, and appears to be enthusiastic about life in general, which I admire. Mojo, however, just craves attention and sleep, and succeeds at getting both...which I admire.
I enjoy brewing my own beer (for a great wealth of info on Zymurgy, visit www.realbeer.com and brewery.org), a hobby I got into a few years ago, and along with another friend, BadAss ("Dude! Home Depot!"), spent way too much time trying to turn my kitchen into a microbrewery (not to mention countless weeks at brewery.org downloading everything).

Hobbies: skiing, camping, brewing, travelling , listening to good music (it’s good because I like it...not because you like it), screwing around on my computer, and doing anything which even remotely involves power tools.
Radio & TV Faves: WAAF , WFNX , The Simpsons (if cartoons were meant for adults, they'd be on at prime-time), South Park, and any show which even remotely involves power tools.
