**~OPIUM DREAMS~**

The stranger he came to me,
Entering my dreams as I slept...
Painted black and white,
Not a word was spoken as he held me...
Romance and longing, Blood red lips,
Passion hot as the sun, Black finger tips...
In a room ablaze with candle light,
Swirling smoke from burners in every corner...
Hair the color of a ravens wing,
Like a curtain, falling over me...
Gently caressng my body,
As he embraced my soul...
In the mist of an Opium Dream,
The stranger, he came to me...

*~Ruthless Desire~*

As I sit perched high on this stone,
I wonder through infinite emptiness...
I walk these grounds in darkness,
Pausing to see the beauty in one so far removed...
Alone in this empty space,
I shed a single crimson tear,
For the loss of one I held so dear...
In the sadness of this mourning,
I wonder through darkness...
The heaviness of my heart slows the pace,
The weight of a black velvet cape swirling about my feet...
A damp fog blankets the earth,
Yet the embers still glow...
Ruthless desire fuels the fire,
Holds me tied and bound...
To one so far removed...

*~ Bloodstained Memories ~*

Living in a love that no longer exists
Fighting a way out with bloody fists
A heart lays broken on the floor
Bloodstained memories...
As he closes the door...

~*~ His Final Folly ~*~

Darkness embraces her yet again
Here in her emptiness
Once again she retraces her steps
Crossing this familiar ground
Again given so freely of herself
Coldness now grips her heart
All runs crimson
As she lays her heart to rest
Watching as it bleeds
See the sticky crimson mass
As its beats begin to slow in rhythm
Its dying from the pain
The scent of death so fresh
Left is an empty shell
Sobbing and trembling
The fool played his final folly
Only to leave her standing at these gates
Unknowing of her fate
She slowly enters
There it is waiting
Its darkened wings out stretched awaiting her
She looks in awe at its beauty
Fallyn Tearz pool on the ground
Stepping closer to its welcoming invitation
Slowly closing her eyes
Thunder crashes
Lightening streaks the empty nights sky
Her darkness enfolds her within its gental embrace
Slowly lowering her head
As her hair falls forward to cover her face
Feeling its feathered softness
Closing gently about her trembling form
Again she retreats
As darkness sedates her
Cradles her into empty slumber
The storm rages beyond
Winds howl in fury
Torn and left to decompose
Her cold empty darkness shelters her
The bittersweet taste of his blood
Remains on her tongue
Its crimson stickiness
Still stains her lips
For even in slumber
She weeps
