Feverish scribbling

Incessent ticking

Time is running out

Sweat on brow

Drips on paper

Smudges ink

Dawn is breaking

Still no sleep

Yawning commences

Leap to bathroom

Then to kitchen

Rush to door

Flag for bus

Squeeze onboard

Familier faces

Doze in comfort

Jerk at bell

Hop off redfaced

Pass canal

Look at sky

Peace settles

Trek up hill

Amble pass expensive cars

Choke in fumes and air fresheners

Brush with water dispenser

See light and warmth

Step into classroom

Embark on hellos

Plonk down bag

Sit at desk

Breathe.
