| The heat causes the gum to melt, making it easier to move from place to place. It also looks really cool. But I think if you baked it for too long, it would burn and crisp, rendering it useless. So be careful. |  |
| So this is when you put the gum into buckets, so you can form a solid block-o-gum, or one b-o-g unit. This is still not very useful to us though, as it is still unrefined. Making anything with this would just result in something bad happening. So be patient, we will cover refining gum in the next chapter. |  |
