I have finished the Bridge Add-on and it looks pretty good. I have uploaded some screens for you to see. I think it is coming along nicely, althought my fears of bad gameplay might become true...

If you have noticed, I stopped all of my other maps for this one. Its showing some potential. I have finally got past my "mappers block" and started at it again. I have a good idea of what to do next.
Instead of adding more to the end of the map (near the houses) and risking higher R_speeds, I have come up with an idea to put a road running in front of the field part in the beginning that will lead from other stuff. I also scrapped all ideas of avanti style and dustbowl style. It will be an objective map. Not exactly sure of what objectives yet, but it will including blowing stuff up... I will try to get up some screenshots soon. |

Here are the new screenshots of the lastest version of plainbattle. Looks nice, doesn't it.
I Thought about the gameplay and I ruled out the option of warpath style. So i can either make it avanti or have random objectives. IE-Take the key to the bunker, then det pack the computers, and finally Call in the reinforments. Something like that, you get the idea. SCREENSHOTS |

PlainBattle is an Attack & Defend map. I thought of this after watching Band of Brothers, the WWII HBO series.
Anyway, this map first starts the attackers running across an open field against the defenders. With plenty of camping spots and 1 rifle. I havnt yet decided what to put after this. Either to make it Avanti style or double it up like warpath. SCREENSHOTS |
