On Monday, February 21, 2006, 11 days after I sent my initial email, I receive a response from Hartman saying its a bad time to meet. Wentworth never responds. "No, this is not a good sign" I say to myself. In my Information Systems courses we start digging in soon as the project is tasked so reduce stress because there are always scheduling conflicts and starting early reveals roadblocks early in the design process that can be dealt with versus leaving everything to chance and the last minute. I know design and engineering all too well, as this is what we are doing, the more complex the design, the more points of catastrophic failure. Starting early prepares us for the design weaknesses and gives us time to explore alternative designs.
