Each row displayed contains information about a recieved fax as described below.
Date Received and Time Received columns
The date and time that the fax was recieved.
Pages
The number of pages received for the particular fax
Last Printed
The time that the fax was last printed. If a fax has not been printed "Not yet printed" will be displayed in this column.
Polled
If the fax was received by polling a number, this column will display "Yes". Any other recieve method will display "No".
Previous versions did not save this information and therefore "Unknown" will be displayed.
Simply select the row containing the fax information and then select "Print Fax" from the "Action" menu.
The print dialog will be displayed where you can select a range of pages (if the fax has more than one page).
You also have the option of printing the fax to a single postscript file.
Printing is performed according to the settings specified in Gefax's setup dialog. (see Gefax Setup)
Simply select the row containing the fax information and then select "View Fax" from the "Action" menu.
This will open the fax in Gefax's built in fax viewer (see Gefax Fax Viewer).
When you close the viewer you will be returned to the History browser.
Simply select the row containing the fax information and then select "Delete Fax" from the "Action" menu.
A message box will be displayed to confirm the deletion of the fax. Remember that the fax will be permanently deleted when using this feature!
Rows in the history list can be sorted several ways. This is handy for finding a fax (Maybe a "find by receive date" feature would be usefull?). Sorting the list is simply a matter of selecting the appropriate menu item dispayed in the "View" menu located on the main menu. The options are described below.
Sort by time ascending
Rows are sorted according to the receive date and time. The most recently recieved fax will appear at the bottom of the list.
Sort by time descending
Rows are sorted according to the receive date and time. The most recently recieved fax will appear at the top of the list
Sort by pages
Rows are sorted according to the number of pages received. The fax with the most pages will appear at the bottom of the list.
Sort by last printed
Rows are sorted according to the last printed date and time. The most recently printed fax will appear at the bottom of the list.
